Beyond Knit And Purl
Now that you know how to knit and purl, here is a beautiful shawl that is a combination of the garter stitch and easy lace.
This one-day course will take you beyond knitting and purling. Students will learn to knit these new stitches; knit front and back, knit 2 together and yarn over. This is a great project for new knitters and a wonderful opportunity to become familiar with lace knitting.
Students must bring US 5-24” circular needles and purchase 1 skein of fingering weight yarn purchased from Auburn Needleworks. Space is limited, so please register soon.
